Blue Moutains
Well this has been a bit of a mixed week, Lost my job on monday, the boss rang me up and said that with christmas coming up there wouldnt be much work coming up so he would have to let me go. To be honest i was kind of expecting it, work had been really slow.
So all week i have just chilled out, real oz attitude. Been going down the beach all day and just dozing in the sun, bin really relaxing. Burnt the tip of my nose which is not good, ive been getting alot stick of some of the girls at the hostel. Rudolph and red nose the most common names. Great.
Mid Week i went to the Blue Moutains with one of the other guys who was off work. He is called Trent. Trent is into sky dives and is just getting into base jumping, so he knew some great places he could show me. The pictures are of a place called Devils Face. If you look at the ridge of the moutain towards the top, you can make out a face with horns. Hence the name Devils Face.
The close up picture of me lying on the floor shows how strong the wind was coming up the face off the moutain, it was frightining, and to think guys just run and jump off the edge, NUTTERS.
As im out of work now i have decieded move up the coast and meet up with Phil. It seems like i good time to move on.
Airlie Beach is the next stop, and hopefully ill be up there within the next few days.Booking a flight tomorrow.
