Great Ocean Drive

After a week in Melbourne we headed for the Great Ocean Drive on route to Adelaide. This was the final leg for the car and we needed her to make it otherwise we might of missed our flights to Perth which was a day after we had set off on another road trip. Took us about 3 hours to actually get the coast and onto the Great Ocean Road. The weather wasnt the best in fact it was pretty cold, nice change, (not). The first stop on the trip was the 12 apostles. This is were the ocean has eaten away at the coastline and has left originally 12 free standing peices of land. There is only 9 left now, as the ocean is still battering them and causing them to collapse. One collapsed about a month back. The first two pics are of me and the lads at a view point. Like i said it was pretty cold. I think it would look awesome if the weather was good or even a sunrise. We stopped of at a few other site seeing places like, London Bridge and also the Lock and Gorge. We didnt really spend alot of time stopping that much, as the road ran along the coast for most of the way and that was spectaular enough.
The third picture is obviously a sunset, we all stopped of and had a break to watch it go down. We had the sun setting on one side the moon coming up on the other, the sky went almost pink before going into the colours you can see in the picture. It was all very romantic for the four lads. ha ha.
After a 12 hour drive, yes thats right a 12 hour drive we arrived in Adeladie about 10 in the evening, we were planning on stopping in the airport but it closed at 11 so we checked into a hostel.
The next was a sad day, our last every journey in the volvo. The last pic is me and the boys on the car. We were all gutted we had to leave her, she had been a good servant, $400 bucks. Priceless. ha We drove to the airport dropped all the gear off and then a couple of guys took her to her final restiing place, IKEA car park. Anyways on to Perth, ive been her for nearly a week now, and i like it. Loads of girls, cant belive how many nice ones there is, the weather is nice and hot so far and the hostel is pretty cool. we got a gym, pool, volleyball court and nice rooms.Been lookin for work and will hopefully get some this week.

Peace out
